Yoga Teacher/Instructor Insurance

Yoga Instructors Insurance

As a yoga teacher or instructor, you understand the importance of safety and mindfulness during fitness and exercise activities. However, accidents can happen, and it's essential to protect your business from potential liabilities.

Our yoga teacher/instructor insurance program has been specifically designed to meet the unique needs of U.S.-based instructors who supervise individuals or groups engaged in fitness and exercise activities. With coverage starting as low as $75 for part-time (20 hours or less) and $105 for full-time certified instructors teaching yoga only, our program is affordable and accessible for all.

We partner with highly rated insurance companies to provide general liability insurance, which covers bodily injury, property damage, and personal injury claims. We also offer professional liability insurance, which protects you from claims arising from the advice or instruction you give as a yoga instructor.

Our insurance program also provides coverage for rented or owned premises, products and completed operations, and medical expenses. Additionally, we offer coverage for independent contractors and additional insureds.

Don't leave your business at risk. Protect your business with our affordable yoga instructor insurance program. Get your free quote and buy online today.

Liability Coverage
General liability coverage protects you if you are legally obligated to pay damages for bodily injury to others and for damage to the property of others resulting from your fitness instruction activities. The policy also provides coverage (professional liability) for wrongful acts (breach of duty, neglect, error, or omission in the discharge of fitness activities) that occur as a result of your instruction activities.
Coverage includes incidental virtual training provided by you (the named insured) to your clients. The intention of the policy is to provide coverage for instruction/training under your direct supervision or organized by you, including material created by you that is accessible to your clients only (through a private platform such as a password protected website or a closed Facebook group) - Coverage does not extend to any training material that is accessible to the general public.

We expect that all reasonable precautions will still be taken when you are assessing potential new clients online, including but not limited to: health assessments, waivers/release forms, and interviews with clients prior to instruction or training. We encourage our clients to consult with their attorney to consider special waiver/release agreements that will apply specifically to virtual training.

Please note, virtual training/instruction does not extend to any training/instruction that includes gymnastic apparatuses, tumbling, or stunting (including pyramids), or in-water activities.  We do not provide coverage for cyber liability, so if you are taking payment or collecting personal information online and it is compromised, there would be no coverage under the general liability policy.
